Which video is on your birthday?

Yes! Mine was OCT. 26: - DISCUSSING NEPAL WHILE EATING TOILET PAPER!!!! The whole idea makes me laugh and, I admit, I had to watch it twice to actually retain some information, haha. Screen Grab!

About Me:

I'm in a blog/vlog project! NerdFighter University - Check it out!!!

I'm a 20 year old nerdfighter attending a Lutheran college in Chicago to be a music teacher. I play the flute and piccolo and sing soprano (I sing on my youtube account!) I am for SURE going to have a dual emphasis in both instrumental and choral conducting! I am also very short and proud of it!

Uhm... my favorite show is The Office (JAM FOREVER!!!) and I am so glad to nearly have it back! Anyway, yay for NFs and friend me on facebook! (just be sure to message me when you friend me or I will get suspicious...)

Oh, and I'm not trying to hate on newbies to the ning but the month in which you started is really only for those that were with the brothers in their first year of vlogging. I've noticed that some people think that it means whenever, but... no. It's just for that. Sorry - it had to be said!

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more

TWILIGHT. I cannot believe I am as obsessed as I am. Only took one week of reading to be so obsessed. Gosh.

An Abundance of Katherines (really, I am not sucking up. Harry Potter, on the other hand, sort of does suck...)
Harry Potter 1, 3, 4 & 5 (6 and 7 ruined the series for me and 2 is just boring :P)

Oh Em GEE Everyone!

No one is going to read this, I feel, but I'm really getting sucked into all the posts about what it means to be a Nerdfighter. It's getting old and I agree with both sides - we should be tolerant and we should all try to get along but WHY would someone join if they were not interested in what others had to say? Psh. That's all - I've got to leave for the evening - there's too much drama on the ning...

Yessssss!

Being (overly) concerned about things pays off!!! I made honors and departmental recitals! Rejoice! My vocal piece, "Vielle Chanson" by Bizet made departmental and my flute piece, "Concertino" by Chaminade made honors! COMPLETE SHOCK! This is so shocking because I almost did not audition for the recital. It was just going to be for scholarship, haha... So, is it sad that my first blog stems from being too bored on a Saturday night?

Because I seem to be a boring person with a lot of time on my hands, I think I will talk about my ~~day~~ week because I have a lot to say about it!

This week was very hectic. I had to find two last minute accompanists for my recital and scholarship auditions that are happening on Monday and Tuesday. Luckily I found a couple of people to play for me (it will not be cheap... $70 total - geez!) I just hope I make Honor's Recital on my vocal solo. They were really good. They also did a joint concert with out (PLU's) Wind Ensemble. It was pretty jokes.
